Terms of Use

Effective Date: July 30, 2026 | Last Updated: July 30, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at www.communitology.co (the “Site”) and any related applications, tools, or online services operated by Communitology (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About Us

Communitology is a US-based consulting firm providing independent country of origin expertise, document authentication and verification, local legal expertise and analysis, and related assessments for immigration, asylum, and other legal proceedings. Communitology coordinates a network of independent experts and delivers training, quality review, and case management.

2. Nature of Our Services; No Legal Advice

Communitology provides independent, evidence-based expert information and analysis. Our experts contextualize evidence, assess plausibility, and document evidentiary limits. They do not determine credibility, make legal findings, provide legal advice, or advocate for case outcomes.

Nothing on the Site, and no communication with us through the Site, creates an attorney-client relationship or constitutes legal advice. Engagements for consulting or expert services are governed by a separate written agreement between Communitology and the client.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Site by, any third party. You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems or data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site;
  • use any automated means to access, scrape, or harvest content or data from the Site without our prior written consent;
  • use the Site to transmit any malware, or any unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.

4. Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the selection and arrangement thereof — are owned by or licensed to Communitology and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for your own informational purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Communitology. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services, and your use of them is at your own risk.

6. Applications and Integrations

Any software applications or integrations we operate for our own internal business purposes — including connections to third-party platforms such as accounting or payment systems — are used solely to support Communitology’s operations. Access to such applications is restricted to Communitology and its authorized personnel and is not offered for use by the general public. Use of any such application by authorized personnel is subject to these Terms and any additional terms of the relevant third-party platform.

7. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is complete or current.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Communitology and its personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Site, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Communitology and its personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Vermont.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or operations. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
